I recently played at Lundin and apart from the fact that every hole was difficult (but fair) the one that stood out more than any was the par 4 1st hole.

Its never easy on the first tee and its a lot harder when you are drawn to tee off first in your annual society competition. What makes it even worse is being faced with a tee shot of terror which is what I felt on the first tee at Lundin Links. Don't get me wrong the course is absolutely beautiful and one of the best I've played, but hey why do those Scots have to be so fierce from the very off. The hole, named High, is only 420 yards but get your tee shot wrong and its got par 5 written all over it.
